goodbye twenty-eleven,

you were full of oddities.
there were some great things, I'm sure, but for some reason it's so much easier to remember the uncomfortable, infuriating, and bizarre.
in your last month you pulled through with valuable life lessons that I feel I will never be able to shake.

I guess, Happy New Year would be a good start but in all honesty, I have yet to determine how I feel about 2012. The news so far, in my immediate circles, hasn't been the brightest...but here's to optimism, hope, and healing (condolences to my friends at store 20).
