UGH...in a kind of good way?

Today, something really cool happened.I was trekking away at work (in sign heaven) unscrewing a sign fixture when the screw fell from its hole and landed in my apron pocket with all the other unscrewed-screws.

'o' Right?! That doesn't happen everyday...I knew from that point on, 7:40 something in the morning, that today was going to be a good day.
Did I speak to soon?

No, not necessarily. Today was my first day of school. Today also marked my first official day as a college junior vehemently pursuing her major...as in all upper-division classes. Today I had Biopsychology and Medical Anthropology: Healers and Healing Practices...both interesting...both SUPER demanding courses.
I'm not gonna lie, I was a little discouraged...particularly over Biopscyh.
Allegedly, it is one of thee toughest courses...so tough there is supplemental instruction twice a week on top of the two class meetings already.
But I am going to suck it up and trust I can do it...even if it eats up all my time (the culprit of the UGH in the title.)
Medical Anthro. is going to be SWEET. I thought I would be more excited about Biopsych but there is just something about learning of other cultures that really turns me on (there is really no other way to explain it). This class requires a research-case study-paper at the end and I feel so very prepared for it thanks to one very fine Cultural Anthropology professor I had not too long ago (you rock, Jeff McKendricks!!!!)

Tomorrow I will venture into the wonderful world of Human Development with a theories class and on Wednesday will have my promised one easy class of the semester, Art and World Cultures.

In other news not related to school, my good-good-great friend, Lydia Martin of www.artbylydiamartin.com, featured Windeymoor in her September newsletter! You can read the interview here

And now for more textbook shopping...BLARGH
