The weather, the colors, the people (with the exception of the man who honked and cut me off), and the atmosphere.
Being a self-proclaimed workaholic, it was really nice to actually feel like I was on vacation...(referring to the week off I took in May where I stayed in San Diego which made me wish I was working :X)
I attribute the "vacation feeling" to being in Michigan...however many miles away it is, it is so far away from San Diego that my body and mind shut down and I entered this state of pleasant whatever-ness and decision-less-ness or as the masses refer to it, relaxation!
The highlights are as follows:
+meeting the parents, dun dun DUN
+meeting some of JB's friends
+driving around beautiful tree-lined roads and never experiencing traffic
+being ridden around on JB's bicycle handlebars
+collecting rocks at Pt. Betsie
+my aunt meeting me half way for lunch <3
+the soccer button's JB's mom gave to me of him (pictures soon to come)
+the birdhouse fence
+finding some neat vintage trinkets for Windeymoor necklaces!! (soon to come)
