Thanks to Trader Joe's, I have done my first freelance piece for a little coffee shop. I used oil pastels for the first time and can't decide if I like using them or not. (Much thanks to Ginger for letting me borrow some of her oil pastels!)
If this genre of project ever arises again I want more time than two days notice, more direction, and to use a different medium...maybe markers because I feel much more confident with them.
Moving on to work-work, here's what I've been up to...or at least here's the funner stuff:

That's all for now, kids.
BUT know that I did just purchase my own power tool...a very own dremel. I've been practicing with it and seashells are a lot tougher to drill through then I thought...in all honesty, I feel like a dentist. I think headphones and protective glasses will be my next purchase.
