So the other day I treated myself to a day at the zoo...and I'll admit it, mostly for the gorillas. I absolutely love primates and never seem to get to spend a good chunk with my favorite chumps...so I did...and they were pretty rambunctious!
Here we have momma (assumption) munchin' on some lettuce when... |
baby comes for some action! Baby cuddles up and then swipes for the lettuce! Momma gets irritated |
and full on hands baby's head and pushes him away. Baby comes back, cuddles, and SWIPES! Momma nudges and pushed again and again. SO FREAKING FUNNY. To me at least |
In other news...TONIGHT an acupuncturist came to my Anthropology class and gave us lecture. At the end of her lecture she asked for a volunteer to "treat". My hand shot up so quick that I don't think she finished her question. Case in point, SHE PUT ONE IN MY FREAKING FOREHEAD!!! HOW AWESOME IS THAT!! :D
For those who have not ever experienced acupuncture (tonight was my first encounter) it does not hurt. My heart was beating very fast so she stuck one of her needles in my forehead (without telling me why) and I felt my body calm down...how COOL is that.
Just to clarify, I wasn't in any particular pain to begin with so I can't say if it hurts when the practitioner is working on a torn muscle or what have you.
Anyhow, my eyes are heavy and my brain is tired from all genres of thought that went on today.
May you all sleep soundly and dream vividly!
love, jonnie.
