Yet I sit here saying it was a productive Sunday...because it was. Sure I am bummed because I am not basking in the radiance that is Jimmy LaValle but I have to applaud myself for squeezing a lot into my 13 hour day. After work I managed to hit up Yardage Town for some really stellar fabric before going to my other job. Once I was done there, I swung by Home Depot and purchased some PVC pipe for my handmade mannequin. A man that worked there was helping me and decided that he would show me the threaded "male" and "female" parts for the pipe...yeah, it was funny, but a tad strange simultaneously...but that's what makes people awesome...or creepy, ha!
The coolest part was the wood base was free because the man said it was!!

Handmade mannequin, yes, you read correctly. The boyfriend helped me make me it since you are incapable of wrapping yourself for a project like this(your arms get stuck in one position) and the great news is, it is nearly ready for modeling action!! I will be assembling the base tomorrow and hope to start taking pictures of some hand-painted shirts tomorrow as well.......which means, NEW STORE ITEMS coming SOON! I know...it's terribly exciting...like a lion on wheels.
